We knew the Bills were set to hit the fields at St. John Fisher University on July 24, but now we full details

The Buffalo Bills are on break before the start of training camp, having just completed their three-week mandatory minicamp session before once again setting up camp at St. John Fisher University in the suburb of Pittsford on the east side of Rochester, NY.

In the weeks preceding the Bills’ return to Fisher, there will be countless hours spent putting in final preparations to take Buffalo’s act on the road for practice in front of a very passionate group of Bills Mafia.

Training camp at SJF has become an institution, and with it a right of passage for so many Bills rookies and free agents. What began as a relatively small and expertly organized endeavor has grown into an annual machine for the team and also Fisher.

As we know, the Buffalo Bills will hit the field at Fisher on July 24, the first of 11 scheduled practices at the University, with 10 of those being open to the public. Sandwiched within their 2024 tenure at Fisher will be Buffalo’s annual “Return of the Blue and Red” practice on August 2.

What stands out most about this year’s practice schedule are the times, with the majority of them beginning at 9:45 a.m. EDT during the week day. That may prove difficult for fans to attend — at least those who work traditional weekday hours. You’ll want to plan your attack to try and secure complementary camp tickets and then leverage your available time off to enjoy this year’s event.

With so many morning practices during the week, you can be certain that weekend sessions will once again be popular and likely exceptionally crowded. Training camp at St. John Fisher University breaks prior to the Bills’ first preseason game when they’ll host the Chicago Bears for a 1 p.m. EDT scrimmage on August 10.

What are your thoughts about this year’s training camp schedule, Bills Mafia? Are you planning to attend any sessions, or will you simply observe from afar — and allow outlets like Buffalo Rumblings to keep you in the loop?
